The Swedish economy is humming. A mix of solid manufacturing base and a huge but pretty efficient state and local bureaucracy seems to be working there. Could this happy mix get transplanted to the US? Perhaps, but what may be most important is what is usually left out of the story in the Politically Correct Media: the foundation of Swedish economy and welfare is the Nordic culture where hard work and constant innovation rest deep in the genes (see example below).
